Top 25 Films

I am constantly asked to list off my top movie, or a top 5 list. It’s very tough to rank some films above others accounting for different segmentation. Here is a list of top 25 that I relatively quickly pieced together. Side note: when guessing the year of the film I guesses 10 exactly correct and on average for the 25 was off by 1.1 years.

Table is sortable.

  1. Hej Juri! what about some Woody Allen flare? Midnight in Paris, Macht Point, Vicky Cristina Barcelona

  2. Hi Angel! I watched all of Woody Allen starting in high school and at a certain point all his films started being annoying. Not until Match Point did he take a turn and began his European era, which I have liked. Probably Manhattan (and not Annie Hall) would be the one piece of his I could add here into the top list. Although at the time of watching I really enjoyed all three you mention.

  3. Agree. The first ones can turn annoying. Magic in the moonlight is good one too. Almodovar I must say is a copycat of Madrid’s downtown characters. Take care.
